2015 could not have started better for DR colours. After receiving trophies and honors for the important results of the 2014 season at the CIK-FIA and WSK Prize Giving ceremonies, the season was soon in full swing with the first races overseas. When the European calendar only allowed a few days of testing, DR colours were flying high in the Florida Pro Kart Series and in the Florida Winter Tour with victories by Carroll in TaG and Formal in DD2.
But no time to celebrate, as the DR Racing Team was soon faced with an early start of the international season, with the WSK Gold Cup kicking off in February. Two races that provided a glimpse of the potential of the DR drivers in KFJ, especially with Russian Petrov who managed to grab a deserved podium in the first round of the WSK Master Series Super after just missing it in the Gold Cup.
Not only satisfaction on track. In fact, the five-time world champion was honored by a young Australian artist. Big fan of kart from the ’90s, and of course Danilo Rossi’s huge fan, Glenn Davidson recreated a beautiful replica of the legendary Crg Heron Plus with which Danilo won the World FSA title in 1999. An honor that the specialized publication Vroom International Magazine has celebrated with a special article published in the March issue.

“We’ve had a very intense three months, but the results achieved so far are the just reward for the huge, relentless efforts the foundations of which date back to last season. We are only at the beginning, after the break for the Easter holidays we will focus 100% on the two conclusive rounds of the WSK Super Master Series. Our aim is to bag other prestigious results, which we have already proven to be able to achieve thanks to the competitiveness of our equipment and our drivers.
I take this opportunity to thank all my staff, the satellite teams and all drivers that are shining with the DR colors worldwide.
I wish you all Happy Easter.“
