Podium places for Deca Nordic Racing Team storms in Uddevalla

During the weekend of June 17th-18th the Sydsvenskans Kart Champions Cup (SKCC) held its fourth round in Uddevalla, at the Uddevalla Karting Klubb. The Deca Nordic Racing Team’s drivers were protagonist of very consistent races in Mini Raket class and in the Rotax MAX.
With arguably the best field in the Mini Raket class, DR Racing Kart driver Jonatan Moberg finished in 2nd on the podium. After a slow start lacking some speed, Jonatan lined up 9th on the grid for the final. An extremely strong start saw the Swedish driver fight for the whole race, switching between 1st and 2nd, to bring his DR Racing Kart MINI-15 chassis to the flag in second place, 0.343sec behind the winner.
The Rotax MAX category was harder, but positive. Pace problems from Jönköping seem to have followed Eddie Toftebom and the Rotax EVO engine to Uddevalla, with serious electrical problems: the only answer and an almost undriveable misfire being an intermittent issue. Eddie in his DR Racing Kart S97 chassis however did not give up the entire weekend, at one stage in 19th position, to start 15th on the grid in the final, to bring it home in an extremely strong 10th place, leaving behind some of the countries best drivers. A textbook lesson in pushing as hard as possible and not giving up!
